Con­tract Ex­ten­sion at Las Ve­gas

Hud­son has se­cured a con­tract ex­ten­sion with the Clark Coun­ty De­part­ment of Avi­a­tion, to con­tin­ue op­er­at­ing stores at Har­ry Reid In­ter­na­tion­al Air­port (LAS) in Las Ve­gas, USA, un­til 2038. The new con­tract ex­tends a part­ner­ship dat­ing back to 2003, un­der­scor­ing Hud­son’s con­tin­ued adapt­abil­i­ty in evolv­ing with trends and ex­ceed­ing the needs of trav­el­ers, with LAS serv­ing a record 51.5 mil­lion pas­sen­gers in 2019.

As part of the new con­tract, Hud­son will trans­form its re­tail and dig­i­tal port­fo­lio at LAS. Hud­son will con­vert 17 of its 31 ex­ist­ing stores into all new con­cepts in 2022 and 2023, in­creas­ing its trav­el con­ve­nience and spe­cial­ty re­tail foot­print and com­ple­ment­ing its cur­rent pre­mi­um brand of­fer­ing, in­clud­ing duty free. The new stores will fea­ture strik­ing de­sign el­e­ments in­spired by “The City of Lights,” ad­di­tion­al prod­uct se­lec­tions from lo­cal brand part­ners like Ethel M, and ex­pand­ed dig­i­tal touch­points.

Span­ning more than 25,500 square feet (around 2,370 m²) across Ter­mi­nal 1, Ter­mi­nal 3, and the D Gates, the reimag­ined stores will in­clude Hud­son´s trav­el con­ve­nience con­cepts Hud­son and Hud­son Non­stop, as well as oth­er spe­cial­ty re­tail con­cepts. These in­clude Brook­stone (with in­no­v­a­tive prod­ucts in cat­e­gories such as au­dio, gad­gets, lug­gage, STEM, trav­el ac­ces­sories, and well­ness), Evolve by Hud­son (which blends trav­el con­ve­nience with spe­cial­ty re­tail), The Atri­um (Hud­son´s spe­cial­ty re­tail ex­pe­ri­ence with brand­ed shop-in-shops in­side), Sun­glass Hut (eye­wear) and UN­Ode50 (jew­el­ry).
